Deals

Where these deals come from

Gear Warrior subscribes to vendors’ own mailing lists. When one announces a sale, the offer is read automatically and published here only if every check passes. Nobody reads or edits it first, so it can be wrong; the vendor’s site is always the final word on price and terms.

• The vendor sent it. The email must carry a valid cryptographic signature (DKIM) from the vendor’s own domain, and that vendor must be one this site lists with a verified official site.
• The link goes to the vendor. Every “See the offer” link points at the vendor’s own website, stripped of tracking parameters. Nothing here is an affiliate link, and nobody pays to be listed.
• It ends when the vendor says it does. Every deal has an end date, and it disappears from this page the day it ends.
• The words are ours. Headlines are built from the offer’s numbers, never copied from the email. A code is shown only when it is a public code, never one addressed to a single subscriber.

The full rules are in this site’s deals contract, and the disclosure page explains how the site makes money. Spot a deal that is wrong? Report a correction.
